Kinesis Card

The Kinesis Card lets people spend KAU, KAG and other supported digital assets on everyday purchases through the Kinesis Money platform. This section looks at how the card links gold-backed and silver-backed digital currencies to ordinary payment networks, so that one’s physical holdings of gold and silver can be used for retail shopping, online orders, travel costs and other daily spending.

In practice the card acts as a connection between the digital asset side of the system and the payment systems that most shops already use. When a purchase is made, the chosen digital holding is automatically converted into the needed fiat currency at the point of sale. Cardholders pick which supported asset they want to spend from, and the transaction then goes through the usual card network.
